In the current race for Mayor of Honolulu, incumbent mayor Mufi Hannemann finds himself in battle with challenger Ann Kobayashi over the proposal of a light rail system going from the west side of Oahu to downtown. But while the political parties joust on that issue, Stop Rail Now which is a group pulled together by the people has gathered over 35 thousand signatures to STOP the light rail system due to inadequacies between budget and functionality.
